    Michelle McClure has been involved with Ability Online since 1990 first as a Director, then Vice-President and President of the Board. As a Recreation Therapist at Bloorview MacMillan Centre, she introduced the therapeutic value of Ability Online in the rehabilitation of children with disabilities. Michelle took on the Executive Director position in 1999 to take the charity to a national level. Michelle successfully completed The Executive Program at York in 2001. Her business acumen is complemented by her exceptional understanding of children with disabilities through her Master’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Waterloo. 

    Since 2012, Michelle has also been responsible for all aspects of the equipment grant program known as Ability Gives, to date completing 200 grants at a value of $500,000. Now working with Brock University, Guelph Humber University and University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, providing experiential learning opportunities/mentoring for students in Therapeutic Recreation, Justice Program and Disability Studies.
